i added some social network buttons to my forum & blog just like the one next to the link tree on digitalpoint when i click share twitter button it pops up my title + a link http://t.co/XXXXX here is my question altho if i click it i will be redirected to my page but the link thats showing is not the actual link to the post will this work for link building purpose?
I don't agree, social network links are always helpfull in SEO. You can not say that nofollow links have nothing to do with SEO. Nofollow is just an attribute which instruct search engines to not to pass the link juice, but it really doesn't mean that it won't help you with your seo efforts.
They can send traffic which is good. Any they will make search engines aware of your site which is also good.
As I think, nofollow attribute is still helpful. I have targeted one keyword to one of my site, I have done hard works to get backlinks to the site in many ways. But a new site with less backlinks, most of them are spammed on many nofollow blogs and it ranks higher than me.
thx for your replies how about same method on twitter but this time use the actual link to the post im gonna make a share button under the post when user clicks it it opens new tab to twitter or facebook etc with build-in text: title + actual url will this help building backlinks?
