I recently created www.nichesociety.com, it uses a digg/social network structure allowing users to add social networks and descriptions just like users would submit news urls and descriptions on digg. It also allows users to contact other users whom submit frequently so they can share and recommend other social networks to each other, basically a Social Network for Social Networks. It currently has over 100 social networks added and anyone can submit a network. Users can vote on there favorites in almost any category. My question is can a site like this become popular?

Thanks I worked reasonably hard on it, its just a matter of marketting it right now like you said. I am looking for the cheapest possible way to market it. Also I need to get it off the ground quickly before people begin trying to clone the concept.
