Background: My link-building campaign currently consists of an India-based SEO company manually created 75 backlinks (15 different keywords) per month. They've done a decent job of advancing very specific keywords on Google, but when it comes to my main keyword, which is also a niche (60,000 global searches per month), it moved up at first, but now has been stuck way down in 30-35 spot on Google USA. Question: Would be worth my while to try link building via social media?
Social Media Optimization and Link Building are different. But you can do that at the same time. Every post you written should submitted to social media as well. Try to make a quality content because when people like what you write they will share, like, pin, or tweet your post.
Hi dear, Social media marketing is process of doing marketing on social networks like facebook, twitter, etc and SEO is different. tell me one thing do have google webmaster tool account or not and for which country are you optimizing your site. if you optimizing for Google USA. go to google webmaster tool and select location. it will help.
Search Engines love social media (Twitter, FB, SU and Delicious). Each link to your website found on social media will increase the impact of your ranking strength, and obviously also provide with a bit of social traffic. That is why it is quite important to place sharing buttons on your contents and posts.
My answer: Yes. For some further information/specifics on how to do this, please refer to my recent post at the thread below: forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2576404#post18138057 HTH
You must try for the same but I less sure that you are gonna get genuine traffic or links from such activities as it can't bring the organic traffic for your site.moreover there is less possibility of the links regarding to your niche
It depends. You can put your website on your Twitter profile and I think that would count as link building. You can also advertise your website on Reddit, Digg, etc. and some of those will probably count as link building too. Either way, it's important to post on social media sites because they get a lot of views everyday. If you can get some loyal followers/fans, they will check out your website and that can be a big boost for you.
It's worthwhile to get your site involved in social nmedia, not just for backlinks but for recognition as well. You get backlinks AND traffic through engaging users in social media so while it's difficult to get a following on sites like Facebook and Twitter, the effects make it worth the effort. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
