Sign up for del.icio.us, Digg, Fark, Furl, Hugg (only for green news), Ma.gnolia, Newsvine, Reddit, StumbleUpon and spend lots of time pasting links and quality reviews to sites. How does it help? Well, it helps build inbound links as just a small *part* of the whole SEO shebang... Anybody else need help wiping their butt?
actually social bookmarking site is just a site for you to bookmark all your favorite web pages and share it with others. when you bookmark a site you are putting a link on the bookmarking site property and that mean a backlink to your site. if the bookmarking doesn't use nofollow tag then you will receive the PR link juice otherwise you will be just hoping that other who see your online bookmark will find it interesting and will check out your site.
even if it is no follow google still indexes it and your site will still be listed in google. it will just point to the bookmarking site which will then link to you.
Have you tried the free social bookmarking service http://www.onlywire.com/ It will allow you to bookmark a lot of sites a lot faster
onlywire does not work good. try http://www.socialposter.com instead you can bookmark to more then 60 sites
Better yet you can submit to lots of bookmarks at once like: I use "submit edge". Its like $35 bucks for a few hundred. This way you dont have to sit there all day.
I use stumbleupon, delicious and digg. I've seen some good traffic from someone else stumbling one of my Squidoo pages, but I haven't quite figured out how to drive traffic from using delicious. I do continue to bookmark my favorite pages I come across on delicous and stumbleupon. Any hints for success on delicious and stumbleupon?
I use socialmarker.com. It currently gives you the option to submit to up to 45 different services at once.
