Social bookmarking

I'd like to start using social bookmarking of my sites to build backlinks.

Should I be bookmarking each and every post that I write on my blog or should it be only selected ones?

I was thinking of signing up for multiple services with a username/password and then using one of those services that posts to all social bookmarking sites.

    Thank you

I would go easy and bookmark the more important posts.

    See PMB for an offer..

Probably safer to just do the submissions yourself... And not so good to bookmark only your stuff all the time. Cause digg does not like that nor does stumble you look like a spammer. Digg will ban you and your IP for spamming your own stuff.

if yuo do it for link building, make sure you submit to dofollow SB sites only. and regarding whether to submit every post or not, it really depends how often you make a post and what does it cover. if you post once a week, then you can submit every post. but if you do few posts a day, then it would be too much to submit

    Thats poor advice.

People at socialbookmarking sites that use nofollow,, could still pick up the link and post it on their forums blogs or websites which may not use nofollow tags.

Additioanally clickthroughs on your site links are counted by Google as part of the organic SERP algorithm....

I aim for 3 posts a day so I guess I should go easy on the submissions.

You submit each posting to social bookmarking sites. And also ping it to rss feed and blog directories.

Sem-Advance is right. Top socialbook marking sites have its own advantage and the major objective of social bookmarking sites are to serve community driven content. if your post carry enough weight people will blog about it and eventually you will build more links.

bookmarking the selected post is a better option. if you bookmark all your post, you may be considered a spammer
