Do Digg and Del.icio.us remove duplicate accounts? If not then do they remove duplicate accounts that will digg each others topics. see what im saying . Thanks.
Perhaps if they catch you. I use this website to create disposable email addresses, you can create more accounts that way. If you are selective about what you vote for you might not get caught.
The problem with disposable email accounts like at 10 minute mail is that mail relays block mail to them after a few weeks of exisitance - if you catch them early they rock
I would assume that your IP is tracked, so in many cases it will not matter which email you have if you are on the same computer. If you are going to make multiple accounts I suggest using a national cheap dialup or even a proxy (but I'd assume that proxy sites are flagged on a different level). I've ran forums and Multi-player games which I do look for matching IP's and will gladdly ban multiples if I even suspect alternate accounts. It's also IP tracking which busts most of the duplicate members here on Digital Point.
I'm sure they'll have some kinda IP checker which will be automated with few restrictions. Once you cross that limit, they'll take you down . ~G
Intersting thought - I wonder if they will catch you.. Someone please post their results if they tested this.
