Delicious, Digg, mixx and stumbleupon sends a decent amount of traffic.

 

Social Bookmarking is most effective factor to increase traffic.. i have used Digg.com, del.icio.us, StumbleUpon.com, Chipmark.com and more.

social book marking is a very prominent way to bring traffic into your website on a consistent basis! Its totally revolutionary! You guys need to use delicious and twitter as traffic generators! Its simple and easy!

 

The bounce rate from social bookmarking traffic is so high, its not worth my time. According to my google webmaster tools, most social bookmarking sites - stumble, digg, mr wongs,,, - have a bounce rate around 75% - 85%. That is terrible. And their average time on my site is only like 30 seconds.

To answer the question - Yes, I submit my pages to social bookmarking sites. But its nothing that I spend a lot of time on. If I am going to focus my time and efforts on something, its going better bring my site some targeted traffic. With an average of around 80% bounce rate, I can not justify spending a lot of time on social bookmarking.

 

I use digg, del.icio.us, StumbleUpon.com, and propeller to generate good traffic.
