Social Bookmarking vs Page Rank

Hi, I have read an article that submitting page links on social bookmarking sites(which don't use nofollow tag) improve page rank. Is this true? There are some tools that automatically does this work. Is it ok to use them and does this really works?

No follow links are not useful in getting search engine ranking position but they will helps in getting traffic

No, when a link is nofollow it will NOT pass pagerank or anchor text according to Google. Personally I take their word 100% for that. However i think nofollow links have to be used for something. Theres alot more than pagerank and anchortext that a link can pass.

Sorry I misread your question. The problem with inner pages on Reddit and Digg as they don't typically have that much pagerank to pass. Other than that they do of course as long as they are follow.

 

using an automatic submitter isn't helpful at all.. Doing SB manually will benefit you more for you have control over on what you want to submit and where you will submit it because quality back links is what you are after here..

nofollow links, wont help you for pagerank, but give you traffic. dofollow, and nofllow both methods are good.

 

Well links on do follow sites helps in both ranking as well as traffic of your site. Otherwise it will generate traffic only for your site.
