Social BookMarking Sites

I've been bookmarking my sites on such social bookmarking websites such as BackFlip, Digg, Spurl, LinkaGoGo and a lot more. Whenever I check with my backlinking tool - I don't see these social bm sites linking back to my sites.

1) Am I bookmarking my sites the wrong way (I know - stupid question)?

2) Do bookmarking sites really work - in other words, do they add value to your links?

1. From my experience, most tools don't show links from bookmarking sites. But don't worry, they are there.
2. Yes they really work. Not only do they get you backlinks but they also get you traffic. Keep using them.

As long as the site uses dofollow, you always get backlinks.

 

You'll get the backlinks, but a lot of the backlink checker tools don't work fully, or take time to update. Just wait a bit longer and check again, from my experience.

 

They all work, everything discussed on these forums works it just takes time to implement the tactics. Just have patience, keep working at it, and keep up good work ethics, and slowly but surely you'll see it all pay off.

 

Social bookmarks work. However, they shouldn't be your ONLY source of backlinks.

 

Bookmarking Sites are very useful. Its a great help for SEO tactic.
If you haven't seen the links don't worry about that cos it's always there as
long as you really submitted it.

 

First check whether those social bookmarking websites are dofollow or not. Then start submission.
