Social Bookmarking Sites - How To Build Your Own Spiderweb

    Hi guys,

I thought to share some success I had with you on how I use social bookmarking sites when submitting links to them.

There is not too much to tell except that you should not only simply submit to those sites but also interlink between your social bookmarking accounts.

Let's say you submitted your site to delicious, netvouz, simpy and spurl.

Your delicious account would link to your netvouz tag page where your link is posted. Your netvouz account would then link to your simpy bookmark page or tag page where your specific url is and the chain goes on.

The benefit in doing this is that one bookmark page has 1 or more backlinks from other strong bookmark sites. Now I know that many if not most of these sites use the nofollow tag (but not all) but I still experienced better results in terms of ranking after doing this than simple single submissions. And Yahoo and MSN don't take care so much about nofollow. You create your own "small spider web" so that when you ping one bookmark it follows the other links on those other tag pages from other bookmark sites.

Also, many of my tag pages ranked on page 1 Google for low/moderate key phrases simply cause they had "backlinks" from my other social bookmarking accounts. :D

Imagine one tag page on e.g. delicious or magnolia having 20 backlinks from other popular and strong social bookmarking sites! Haven't tried to go so far but I think it would give quite a boost.

I guess this is something to ponder, also for all those guys offering social bookmarking submission in the Buy/Sell/Services section which could offer a 2 step submission service.

    1. Normal submission to all sites
    2. Submitting /interlinking to tag pages of other social bookmarking accounts.

It has to be tested which of those sites are best to use the interlinking technique. Then hire different people to rinse and repeat this procedure from different accounts and IP's.
