I wanted to know the seo value of Scuttle, ScuttlePlus and Pligg sites. Does Google frown upon these kind of sites in anyway? What is the difference between.. Propeller.com vs. Getboo.com?? I know the ranking and site traffic is most likely different. But I really want to know if I was bookmarking a web page or video on either, which one would be better? Does Google use any method to measure the quality of the link itself? Or is it just simply, the more links the better?
most of the scuttle and pligg sites are useless in terms of seo. you should bookmark on some real bookmarking sites but if you can find some good PR scuttle/pligg sites that are dofollow, feel free to use them. always look at the activity of the site. more active the site is, more frequent search engine bots will visit the site and better chance you have of getting yout link followed
