    Social bookmarking doesn’t rank keywords, but it can be used to reach a targeted audience. This PR and communications strategy could increase awareness of a website, indirectly benefiting its organic rankings. It can deliver you some traffic, although not much from my experience. I'd prefer writing good quality content on new or established websites other than my main website over doing social bookmarking. Also don't forget that a lot of social bookmarking services are a spam service. All in all, I'd stay away from it.
