Personally I do all Social Bookmarking Manually because I know that all user interface of Social Bookmarking sites varies and So I prefer to do it carefully.

There are lots of social bookmarking sites and its really difficult to do it manually in all these sites. So I set up the automated software for all the bookmarking sites which are not so well popular. And the popular sites which sums up about 10-15, I do it manually. This way I am assured that I have covered all the bookmarking sites possible

I also do it manually to take compete benefits of social bookmarking sites. Software save your time but it is not much helpful.
