I was planning to open a social bookmaring exchange site. I wanted to ask if it is legal or illegal. The sites most probably are stumbleupon, digg and propeller (netscape). It directly violates digg TOS, but is violating TOS illegal? What can they do if i make such exchange sites?
Illegal - NO! A waste of time - YES - MOST LIKELY. Obviously if people repeatedly violate TOS they are banned from life.
are you sure its not illegal? any other consequences to me if i make such a site except digg/SU banning users who do this? and banned from life? lol
Not playing fair online IS NOT ILLEGAL... (not yet anyway). Can they become as creative as you - and change their policy in the future... SURE... SORRY you can't have a "stay-out-of-jail-free-card" for life!
