    hello,

is it possible that my main domain gets deindexed and banned from Google if I build a lot of subdomain based blogs under the same domain and submit them all to social bookmarking sites like digg, mixx, yahoo buzz for faster indexing?

    thanks.

I'm not quite sure about the exact answer to this question, but it reminds me of the time wordpress.org got penalized in google back in 2005 because they were hosting another companies articles for them so that they could rank well and make advertising money.

Will every blog have its own unique content? If yes, I don't see any reason why should google bann them. If you are going to use some auto-generated content than you risk the duplicate penalty.

you won't be banned for getting external links, it is an extremely rare scenario, however make sure you post quality content on all those sub domains, what can get you penalized is crappy or automatically generated content.

you should take time to submit links. you should build hundreds of links all in one day, if you build the links gradually it will help better

    No.

If you promote your multiple sub domains genuinely, Google doesn't ban u.

If you use any unethical seo techniques in your sub domain, it effects your main domain.

At all the time, ethical seo doesn't causes to ban from Google.

You may have any other reason, but not social bookmarking.

I don't think more bookmarks will lead to google ban. However when you choose bookmark site, make sure that you are choosing the site with PR2 or more.

It is interesting information. Can you please mention some sources stating that?

It may be interesting especialy for those who use free web hosting. Many free hosts offer subdomain so if this is true it may happen that thousands of websites will be penalized because one user broke google rules.

In market, many companies are providing free sub domains. And many people are using them for their personal and business purpose.

I observed that, I never found free sub domains in serp for any keyword. We found blogger and wordpress. Bcoz, they regularly suspend the accounts which are done unethical seo.

you wont be ban if that so than blogspot should be the first one to ban, but dont make duplicate content on the subdomains.

Not always true. I've had plenty of whitehat sites banned for no reason with no hope of getting index'd again.

Not unless you link to the subdomain with your main domain. If they're not linked and "orphan'd" they should be fine, 99 out of 100 times.

According to Google any form of link building besides social media is an attempt to modify the results on their search engines, therefore anything you do has the possibility of getting you banned. Period.

To be honest, as of the last algorithm update about 2 months ago, I would completely believe that social bookmarking alone got him banned. If it accounts for 100% of his links, that's your answer right there.
