Was just going through arando Article on SEO and it says the social bookmarking helps in Google ranking and PR how much of this is true?

and especially it said Digg makes the major difference

 

Well, its not only about Social Bookmarking Its about every stuff that helps to generate traffic and ranking. Bookmarking deals with lots of users and visitors that why it has and specific impact on seo ranking otherwise i can bet without bookmarking you one can get SEO ranking as well..Thanks

 

i was told that keywords with too little characters cannot be used for social bookmarking. does anyone know why is that?

if you submit your site in social bookmarking site daily so you can get good traffic and fast indexed by the Google because daily thousand of visitor visit your site. also you can get good backlinks way bookmarking site and if your back link will improve so you can get good PR and ranking

 

Digg is nofollow now and it does not help you in ranking.

Try submitting to seo friendly social bookmarks that gives dofollow link to your site which will have the impact to SERP ranking.

High PR social bookmarking sites will bring you more traffic.

 

It is hard to find a dofollow bookmarking site now. Most of the big players added nofollow to the links. Anyway Still I believe in bookmarking important pages. It has a potential to bring traffic to my website and if I am lucky a few can be my regular visitors.
