Hello, I submitted my websites to social bookmarking "digg,...'' but in the descriptions i putted the same article that i have in my websites. You think that search engines will see my websites like duplicate content?
nope. it is normal for a lot of seo companies to put same description on meta tag into bookmark or link. Do it to many times and it will be considered spam and hurt your website.
everyone does this.....but if you social bookmark the site the same way at a number of sites...then those may become duplicate content and ignored.
just a line or 2 description on 3rd party site will not hurt. you can however use multiple descriptions on different sites if you wish
i agree i have become lazy and use a social media poster site to submit my articles and do not change the title, decription or keywords with so many media sites i submit to (30) it is hard to change everything and the prgram is just a few clicksnad it is submited i know it is bad and i should change it for every title and description BAD SEO and I know it Sorry to answer question dont be like me and do it properly
I has the same question and e-mailed to their support. The answer I got - "If your article belongs to you and are not copied, then it will not market as duplicate content" or something... so stay cool )
Google has specified that they will penalize your website for having duplicate content issues. They did not mention any such penalty for duplicate content on the web. You may want to check out the majic article submitter and rewriter as it gives you the ability to "spin" your content, titles and descriptions to be unique to each article posted. Best of luck!
