Social Bookmarking and Adsense?

I have started using social bookmarking sites recently to drive visitors to my blogs. The problem is, the visitors are coming but they're not clicking. I literally got thousands upon thousands of visitors yesterday and the day before for a awesome article I wrote but I got just a handful of clicks. Its just frustrating when I hear people getting 100 visitors make more than me when I'm getting thousands. Whats your experience with social bookmarking sites and Adsense?

Are you sure this visitors are real humans?what stats counter are you using?Bookmarking websites have many bots that will follow a new published link, Digg for instance have more than 10 bots and twitter have over 20 so it may be possible "These Visitors" are not humans plus Social Bookmarking visitors don't get mush CTR.The best traffic is organic.

Hi dianny, It is normal as these visitors are not targeted visitors. Visitors from Digg, mix and all are well known for their no click habit. 1000 visits from book marking sites is inferior than 100 visits from Search Engines.

Visitors who come directly from social bookmarking are often too ad-aware and don't click. But it's good to be on social bookmarking because those first visitors will perhaps talk and link to your article in their own blogs, and then later you'll receive "normal clicking" visitors.

social visitors are aware of the title of the topic and they have come to read the things related to that topic only. so they finish reading and move ahead without any ad click because they are not in search of anything!

Well, it seems this social bookmarking sites have managed to get my account banned, I got a massive surge of traffic and Google must have though I was doing something wrong. So not fair.

As the traffic is not a TARGETED one, your Adsense income might be very low.
