lol, 'only a few hours' is still too long for most people

Huh? How do you field properly?

Yeah, a few minutes before writing that I was surrounded by stubs in an ashtray - funny how the brain works eh?

I agree with gr8liverpool fan (EVEN IF I AM AN AS ROMA FERVENT SUPPORTER AND I STILL REMEMBER THE FINAL OF 1984 IN ROME,GRRRRRRRRRRR).
I depends on the regions, and the fans of the subcontinent are much more than the inexistant ones in Europe (except for UK).
But the most important fact is that the enormous amount of money moved by the soccer system you won't find a stuff like this in any other sport,so...between soccer and cricket....[SOCCER 1 - 0 CRICKET]

I am an Aussie and love both sports.

Here are some facts in Australia.

-Cricket is more popular than Football (soccer) as a spectators sport.
-Football is the number 1 participant sport....cricket comes 3rd or 4th or something like that.
-Cricket World Cup......no one can give a rats ass (no one can care) about this world cup for some reason.
-Football World Cup.....Aussies went ballistically crazy over this last year despite the games being in the middle of the night.

Cricket will never reach the global heights like football does.

I never thought the football is so intresting but when India could not make it to super 8, I am happy to cheer for my favourite MAN U. and it was in paper in one state of india people of few villages and towns decide no one will play and watch cricket. So I think people are switching over to other games and the reason behind that is that OUR GURUZ like Sachin and Dravid are busy in making money not in playing.

Cricket is more popular then the football because more people of the world like the cricket as compare the football because football like in the European countries and strength of these countries is less then only India so there is a big difference between them cricket like in the big countries such as India pakistan bangladesh and many more

Sorry mate, where are you getting the info that Cricket is bigger than Football? Football is the biggest sport on the planet. Its a documented fact. Check wikipedia, google etc. As for which is better. The FIFA World Cup is not as exciting as it used to be, but cricket is dull as hell. Its not that I need action, hell I love watching Snooker and you cant get any slower than that.
