Is there any way to put live scores of soccer games on my site? I'm actually using a widget, but is full of ads, have to put a link on my site, and is linked everywhere on the scores. This script can be done? Should I hire someone to do it, to update it from the source automatically? Is there any way to do it, since I want the custom script to be the last option Thanks!

If you want a good and solid XML my experience is you have to pay for it. Livescoreshop(dot)com are very cheap, however, and you can decide how long you want the service for.
