I hadn't updated the whois from when I got the domain quite a while ago, I think the info of the last owner was just transferred automatically along with the domain.

I will change that now to verify that I am the owner :)

Whois info has been updated but not sure if it will show up immediately.

I know DNS changes take effect within minutes with the registrar so hopefully the whois info will too/

It may take a wee while for the whois to update. Did you have to pay a fee? Just curious.

Not sure to be honest, have my CC connected to the account so it might have taken something out but I didn't look.

It's showing my address in the whois now, don't know why its not showing my name though..changed that too.

    Sale is pending.

If anyone would like to make a backup offer in case it doesn't go through (Want to be safe, happened today already :)) the current offer is $2000.

    BIN: $2500

I have been asked a few questions:

I have someone that made an offer of $2500 but he wants to put down a deposit and pay over a few months.

I don't know if he is doing it and has the deposit secured so the auction is still open until this is secured.

In other words...the auction is still open, $2000 highest bid and $2500 BIN.

    Thanks
    John

The site was mentioned on the show and it was in the initial credits.

You can contact Katy Pearcey at Granada Entertainment for verification of this.

I have three people waiting to buy at BIN and I am in discussions with one bidder right now.

    Thanks
    John

    I really don't believe it....

Yet again another person has made an offer and can't pay.

Please do NOT make an offer unless you can pay and have the funds available yourself.

    Current offer is $2000 - BIN $2500

I haven't heard from Chris since he won the auction which was a few weeks ago.

He hasn't been online at SP since the last day I talked to him.
He has been a member at SP since 2002 so I don't think he did a runner but I'm not sure what's up.

Like I said, this sale is to pay towards an anniversary holiday.
I already had to sell off another site that I used as partial payment but I still need to sell SoapForum.

I am accepting offers over $2000 to close.

Payment must be made/sent the same day.

The site has had nearly 200 new users since it was for sale!

    Do you have updated stats?

You said earlier that you only wanted payment via Wire transfer and would not accept Paypal but then went on to say in subsequent posts something about waiting for a Paypal account. Can you clarify the situation, please?

Do you happen to know if the site has any organic rankings on any of the major search engines?

Is this an auction with a closing date and if so, what is the opening bid price and also the closing date? If it's a 'taking offers' with a BIN option, can you clarify the terms and the prices? Thanks.
