    Hey,
I am selling one of my sites, www.SoapForum.co.uk

This is a forum for UK soaps, for example eastenders, coronoation street, Emmerdale etc. as well as general TV.

    The stats are currently:
Our members have made a total of 30,771 posts
    We have 1,331 registered members
    The newest member is chaz
Most users ever online was 374 on Jul 13 2005, 03:24 AM

    Traffic:

    Traffic stats: Http://www.soapforum.co.uk/temp/stats.gif
    Referral stats: Http://www.soapforum.co.uk/temp/referrals.gif

Take a look at the referral stats, the traffic is great quality and you can see for yourself there is a very high % of traffic from search engines.

    Included in the sale:
    Unique design
    Complete site files and databases
IPB License (Still not 100% on this, I have to get the login information but you can see from the site that there is an IPB license registered for the site)
    Domain name

    Income:
The only thing I have done is place adsense in a few places, never really integrated it well.
    Income is $49 since October.
I'm sure anyone that knows about advertising knows a lot more could be made from this site, some options I would recommend for the new owner would be popup ads - These tend to work a lot better on entertainment related sites.
Because of the genre of this site I think affiliate links would also work very well - Maybe chitika?

    Other info:

The site is being advertised on a new major TV programme called soapstar, superstar.
This just came on one of the largest TV stations in the UK (ITV) and has some of the most popular soap stars and is on every weekend.

    Reason for sale:
I would like to free up a little bit of cash for a quick break next month with my other half so the extra money would come in nicely.

    Payment:
Payment can be made through paypal or UK bank transfer (I have an Alliance & Leicester account).

    Price: Starting bidding at $400
BIN: None set yet - Open to good offers

How much staff does the forum have? Any of them paid? Will they stay after the site is sold?

Thanks Alias, you are the top bidder.

fryman, the site does have a few moderators and I am sure they will be sticking around, they are very loyal to the community and very willing to help and no, they aren't paid.

I have already got two PMs asking for a BIN price, I will be repling to those now but just so others know, I don't have a BIN set myself yet but I am open to offers if someone would like a quick sale.

    Thanks
    John

    Hey,

The current offer is now $1750.

I don't have a BIN set but I will close the auction early for a good offer - I still have a lot of people asking for this.

There are seven people interested in making an offer to close the sale early so its very likely the site will be sold today.

    Thanks
    John

Yep I wasn't expecting so much interest.

I think I ended up having 8 people wanting to close today so I was more than happy to do it because I'm selling so I have extra money for a break I am booking.

Don't think it will be an instant sale though because I cant accept the payment through PP so trying to get something worked out.

I am opening the auction again because I cant accept payment via paypal.

I am starting the auction off again at $1750 (The last bid on the auction) but payment must be made by bank transfer and you must have the funds available.

Please post bids and questions here or via PM.

    Thanks
    John

    Bid of $1800.

Just to note, if my PP account is working before auction finishes the bidder will win the site automatically.

    Current offer is $2000.

A few people have asked, if my paypal account is working before the auction ends I will honour the offer to close for $2500 even if the auction bids are above this.
