Google will accept just about any kind of site.
YPN is more selective in who they approve.

unlisted80, out of the thousands and thousands of applications ypn gets each and every day, what makes your site worthy of being accepted over someone elses. if you cant answer that, then you know why you probuably wont be accepted. ypn is in beta. they only want the best publishers for their advertisers. they want sites that are unique to their network, fill a hole in their advertising slots, something that will reflect well on their program and most importantly, a publisher that will convert for their advertisers. they are kicking people out left and right. if you want to be accepted, apply with the very best site you have and cross your fingers. even those webmasters with extremely high quality sites are being declined. sorry, but your myspace page has 0 chance of being accepted under these conditions and there must be a thousand arcade publishers already. you need to be unique. you need to be high quality. you need to show them that you have something that nobody else has and that you would be a valuable asset to their publishing community.

this has been discussed more than a few times. search around for more ideas on what ypn wants and doesnt want.

thats what im saying. its not about improving your site. you need to give them a reason to accept you. if your site is 1 out of millions in the same genre, you are not going to make it.

U don't have to take off google ads to increase your chance with YPN. Mine had adsense all over the place when I got into YPN and I am sure most ppl were running ads on their sites b4 ypn came along.

If you want to get accepted don't look for ways to improve your site, look for ideas to make a new unique site with unique content, that would be useful for YPN. Myspace traffic is poor quality traffic, and YPN doesent need any mroe of it.

unique. different. value to advertisers. quality. original. not doing things with your current G account that clearly violates ypn's tos (images next to ads). a site that shows them you know what you are doing. that you are serious and professional. that you value your visitors more than you value the clicks you may get from them. a site that is designed for your visitors and not for ypn or adsense. a site that is growing because you are putting work into it. a site that has "high quality" traffic (people that can and will buy stuff). a site that their advertisers would want their links on. a site where you could contact an advertiser in your niche directly and they would be like, hell yah, i want a banner or link on your site.

i dont mean to be rude, im totally not trying to be. if you have to ask these kinds of questions, you are not going to get into ypn... at least not until they come out of beta.

but, i do have some suggestions for the type of site that im talking about.

    cnn.com

not because they get god knows how much traffic, but because their site is high quality, designed for their visitors / niche and could care less whether or not someone clicks an ad.

    as always,

    jmo
