Are you sure it was just on the domain? From the first letter I read that you posted it seemed as if your whole account was done for. I hope that's the situation!
yes it was just on the domain... and they said i can use ads on other sites.. but i dont have other sites.. its the only site i've ever had.. and i dont wanna make another one..
This will only cost you one source of rev. if you don't have a friend who can sign up for an Adsense Google account for you. The smart webmaster can get past any problem you may no longer be able to use that site. But you can still be using google I know a friend hehe..that had this problem and it was fixed by this solution.
If you have committed an mistake and say sorry to google, then, google is not going to forgive you. But you must contact google for resolving the issue.
just looking at the site the search box is in violation as well anyway as you have modified the code to remove the background and the google logo. doesnt really matter now. I got called up for modifying the search code so I know they dont like it when you do modify it. I was surprised they banned the domain 90% of the time they give you a warning and 3 days to fix it up.
well not really, as long as if you have the powered by:google text... and they disabled my site because of the "articles" to "advertisement" issue
Seriously you need to make your web site work again your going to lose all your visitors. The quicker you do it the less visitors you will lose.
how da heck im going to make it work again??? my website theme is Google Based Search Engine" but they let me down.. Yahoo! publisher is a new hope
It seems lately they have been going lax on banning full accounts (unless you have invalid impressions) If the site going against the TOS (as the OP was) it's usually just the site but some cases the whole account.
You can have google search engine but not get paid for the searches. Then you can add all the other PPC providers... you can make it work very well... just do some research.
I don't have sympathy for somebody putting "articles" instead of "ads". That is a mistake yes, but one that should be punished. On the flip side, just put the site under a new domain and don't make mistakes anymore.
You could just redirect all the traffic to a new domain... That is if you want to continue using google, that's about the only option you have once a site is banned. If your looking at alternatives... then keep your domain.
