so would a mod please care to explain something?

im sorry but i dont agree with this warning i just got. ive posted requests for help several times but no one seems to care. is there an admin or a mod that would care to talk about this? instead of blindly handing out infractions?​

 

have a section where people can ask the reasons behind warnings and infractions, since the canned messages are VERY vague, and dont fully explain what the problem was.

since you cant ask the mods in any other threads without getting warnings that last for MONTHES, it makes no sense.

Some of them are also not too talkative.

 

they are very busy - and they also have the support section. I think that is enough.

How about PM?

If you believe you've received an incorrect infraction or by mistake (which is rare), you can just PM a moderator and explain. They won't give you an infraction for that*.

* I may be wrong, let someone confirm it. :/

Read the rules and the Stickies for the various forums and you won't get any infractions. As for the mods explaining each and every infraction - forget it! If people don't take the time to read the rules why should we waste our time answering questions about things people should already be aware of?

yeah posting the question directly gets me infraction points, so, not so much of a user friendly forum.. and not to mention, i fail to understand this whole reputation system, especially someone leaves hateful remarks and gives you 9 neg points.. wtf those are for..

so ya, posting your questions here, im learning, this site isnt very friendly to new people, and most people seem bitter and jaded..

 

I fight assholes by being a bigger asshole. Don't take their crap and if they are bitter and jaded it is their problem. I come here to hangout so I only bother knowing the rules that apply to what I do here.

 

how about some better canned lazy responses/emails from the infractions systems that clearly explains what happened?

some of the canned messages dont make any sense, and dont clearly explain what the problem is.

might help prevent future problems

 

Or, like I told you privately, read the rules and stickies... what the infraction notices mean is already laid out there.

 

yeah no joke.. shame this isnt a legal court, cuz double jepordy would so get me off the hook right now.. not to mention..nevemrind i dont want 8 more infraction points!
