OK, pretty clear. Only "spam" is a subjective thing. If someone creates accounts in my site with links into it (and particularly, links to non-offensive sites), I won't bother. I don't have to look at them anyway, nobody would force me to see them. No spam to me, nor to my site-members. Though I am also free to call Adsense ads as spamming, why not?

You forgot to clarify things regarding ebooks though. I am knowing at least one thread selling blackhat ebook that contains yahoo answer and youtube spamming. There are many more similar for sure.

EDIT: I see my signature link is removed. Can I link to the similar service thread of other forum?

Well i must say that the BST on DP is going down the drain with all of these bs rules.. The forum owners should be happy that we make profiles, so that they can brag about how many members their forum has.

As for the angry forum owner.. You are really so dumb to check for profile link builders by hand? If you constitute a rule that somebody must make 10 posts you will get rid of every link builder in town as we do not post(ergo we do not spam!)..

I have the same question as the above poster. Can i post a service thread from a different forum in signature?

EDIT: So will blog commenting be also banned from BST? That really is obvious spam from any view point..

If e-books violate rules here, report them and fully explain why you think they violate the rules here in that report.

Original question has been addressed, and thread is now being closed.
