I don't care about PR anymore........so long time not have been updated...

 

I think you're just a noob who wants to increase your post count and SPAM the forums with your signature.

 

I think the popularity and the craze towards the pr updation is going down of the webmasters, no it has no sense coz for a long time the pr is no updated yet the work without pr w8ing is going on.

So I don't think about the pr when it will be updated or when it not and that seriously can't impact on my work.

 

I am also thinking and waiting for it. Hope to get some updates in my sites PRs.

I've put a heck of a lot of work into my sites and I wanted to know what others feel about the update! Sorry if that offended you, it was not my intention!

 

I'm not here to offend you either. Have you read the entire Google forum lately? Heck, how are we supposed to know? Google is the only one who knows when the next PR update is going to happen. That is not even worth asking a question.

I think Google did it last before 20 days once.

 

Maybe it will just be once a year now, some say Page Rank is dead, but if that is the case, why do sites still have them

 

I don't think Page Rank is dead. Our website was online last August. Its PR is 100% sure N/A at that time. Then very quickly, it changes from N/A to 1, 1 to 3, 3 to 4. Then it stopped, after some time, it changes from 4 to 5 and then 5 to 6. Our PR stays at 6 for quite a long time. Looks like dead. But I know it's not. Just we haven't make enough efforts in it. I read from an article that you have to make double efforts every time your PR moves up 1 level. This means, the higher your PR is, the more slowly it moves up. Come on, guys!

 

Hey Anna, great response! Yeah because to get to PR 1 is fairly easy but to get to PR10 well that is almost impossible for obvious reasons! You must have bucket-loads of links for a PR6 anyway? Nice work!

 

Not entirely true. There are a lot of websites in Google that has been ranking higher with low PR than websites with high PR. PR isn't everything.

I don't think PR makes a big difference. If you have a good SERP this only thing matters. I can show you PR4 + sites which never done SEO. PR i think dose not important now a days.

 

PR updates so infrequently that it's almost useless.
