So what's up with Adsense Referrals?

I know there have been other people with this problem - I just can't get Referrals units to come up. All I want is the stupid Firefox referral, but it comes up a blank every time.

Quite a few people mentioned they were having problems with this - any solutions/suggestions/explanations? I have pretty much tried every combination of everything, so it's not my settings or my site. The site displays regular Adsense fine...

Referral ads show if you're in a certain country. For the US, it will show every time. Try accessing the site via a proxy and see if it shows. Be careful, don't click the ads!

Hmm, that can't be it - Firefox with Google Toolbar referral shows in every country. Anyway, I can see it on other people's sites! And it's available in the Adsense Referrals setup, even when my country is selected.

OK - experiment - I have stuck the Firefox referral unit here (just my personal blog, I use it to fiddle with stuff like this!) and see if YOU can see it in other countries!

BTW, most proxy services I guess are blacklisted by Adsense, or maybe they don't execute Javascript - either way, it's hard to see Adsense ads when going via proxy! At least in my previous attempts...

I'm in Thailand and I can't see it... Where is it meant to be on the page? BTW, nice adsense placement you've got there :)

Google referrals is one of the best joke lately. They perform very poor. Nothing to gain my interest in there.

Thanks, he he! Though I have TERRIBLE CTR, like less than 1%, so I am thinking about other options than Adsense...

It's supposed to be to the right of the feed button above the post. And I don't think the problem is the size of the DIV or anything - I have tried the script in other locations on the same page, even at the very top, just to see.

Hmm, so I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. Not like Google to roll something out without it working properly and just leaving it like that...

    I have the same problem

I think Google is being an asshole like everyone else who owns a monopoly they start making stupid decisions thinking they own everyone and everything. Kind of like M$. So I think it's good to not put all your eggs in one basket!

I know when I have a good day of revenue from adsense the next two will suck due to the change in eCPM which I think is a strategic measure on their part.

I am looking for different alternatives.
