It's sort of suprising coming from webmasters. I bet you're all here trying to make that "American buck" aren't you?

There's plenty of them. I shouldn't have to name them.

And they're all hanging out at a webmaster forum (owned by an American, I would guess) and bashing the US all day.

I think if you're really anti-US, you should avoid Google.com, Yahoo, and all of the other ways that keep the evil US government in power.

    Maybe we have hypocrites here?

Well with the whole iraq war many people are blaming us for their problems. Not to mention that they already thought we are arrogant.

    Thank You

If somebody criticises a policy of the current US Government it does not make them anti-american.

The best thing anyone can do for America is make sure the Democrats win in 2008. The Bush clan have taken the electorate for a ride.

It was your Government that decided to remove the administration in Iraq so the responsibility of reinstating the basis of a new Government and a functioning society is yours.

The following statement doesn't apply: If you aren't conservative and don't agree with the current administration, you must be anti-American.

Bottom line: espousing Anti-US views won't help you in business.

I'm proud of being an American. As far as I'm concerned there is no finer country in the world. When I read smug sentiments expressed against my country, I get very turned off.

If people are actually here to run web businesses, then alienating Americans makes no sense.

What kind of nonsense is that? We had a pretty happy world before the Indians got slaughtered. I don't see any causal relationship between America and the World's liveliness at all. If you would even think in such terms, I'd say 'America' has destroyed more than it's built. But that's really looking for something to blame the nation for.

As far as general anti-Americanism is concerned, if you were to do some statistical analysis you will probably find a small percentage of people causing the stereo-type image the rest of the world has about America and an even smaller percentage causes a great part of the world to hate the USA. There's many things I dislike myself but that that doesn't mean I hate anyone. You just need to be aware of the proportions, who breeds what sort of culture, how and where.

You'd have to be pretty thick to judge the entire population by what resonates outwards into the world.

It's not pissing off Americans, it is telling Americans to stop worrying about what's happening in their stupid sitcoms and start telling your corrupt goverment to sort their shit out before they fuck up the whole world.

Why are you telling Americans that? Who asked you? I don't watch television at all, so your generalization doesn't apply to me. Plus, the Presidential election is quite far off. I guess there will be a new president soon enough.

51% of Americans didn't even vote for Bush. So why alienate them? You are trying to make sales online, aren't you?
