You can start to SEO your forums by editing threads of your members or the replies to fill it with keywords, especially the titles. This could help building search engine traffic in the long run.
Well we did get some nice promotion about it at certain related websites, so I am happy about it. My problem is just that the traffic is not growing, despite the fact that we have plenty of members and pretty informative info. We already have VbSEO installed and we hit on 1000+ keywords, but its still to little. So what to do? I have cash, now how do I spend it?
That is a a lot of money to have spent on promotion - do you know what your return on investment has been? What was worth paying for and what wasn't? In your shoes I'd do some long hard analysis of what your money had gone on, and what was woth paying for, rather than being too eager to keep spreading money around.
dont "buy traffic", but advertisements PPC so that only people remotely interested will click and go, which will increase likelihood that a visitor will sign up for your forum.
$8000 is alot to be spending on traffic itself. you should at least market it yourself and discover what the website can help people.
Are there no places I can buy "bulk" traffic that is actually "bulk". Not bots, not php code, not all that stuff. I mean real visitors, buying them by the numbers.
