So what Keyword would You use?

As many know i own a few "web directories" or "link directories".

So what word would you "chase" for in google if you owned a directory?

1. link directory = Results 1 - 10 of about 443,000,000 for link directory.
2. web directory = Results 1 - 10 of about 708,000,000 for web directory.

those would be my picks and yours ?

I would use link directory

 

Malcolm1 I agree with your 2 selections but I think multiple selections are the answer.

For the keyword directory
about 611,000,000 for directory

 

link directory

 

try to rank for both you will become ranking for directory also

 

searches:
add url 176,231 (year)
link directory 2,044 (month)
free directory 4,074 (month)

i would have given you something better.. but the suggestion tools i use bugged out on me

 

I see ranking for add url nearly impossible :s

 

Hmmm i use many more and add url is one of the ones i use.
I would imagine that they are all good but the people clicking
are the ones interested, free is good but not anymore as they are paid directories now
