I'm trying to find some really cheap, yet reasonably high quality ppc adveritising. I checked out adbrite and sorted their site directory by cpc. one of the top ones is at http://site.www.adbrite.com/mb/commerce/purchase_form.php?other_product_id=45711&product_select=one_week&fg_state=previous_selected_product%3Done_week%26check_item%3D%26product_select%3Done_week%26sort_id%3D2%26page%3D1&vertical_id=0

    average clicks: 100,000
    price: $12

I'm still pretty new at the webmaster game, but my BS alarm is going off big time. what's the deal with this? furthermore, if this isn't legitimate, how can I be sure if anything on adbrite is?

I see what you mean, 100k clicks for only $12. Perhaps the site owner is a very generous soul and has set this low price them self. Could just be a genuine error. What I can tell you is that most advertisers start off with AdWords or AdBrite and from what I've read on here the majority of them are happy with the service they receive.

It seems that the publisher hasn't changed the standard price.

But I wouldn't advertise on that site. I don't see their adbrite ads anywhere on that site.

And it's not AdBrite that tries to pull anything. It's the publisher if anyone. If you have any thoughts why not contact their support?
