so what happened to filesonic?

I'm very said about Filesonic... and the way how it died.
This disappearance without a word was unworthy...

A technical question : anybody has an idea how I can remote upload my files from Filesonic to another host? Because all my files are in my filemanager but I tried and I can't remote upload these to another host... Any help?

 

It's funny reading the second to last post in the main Filesonic thread

No bloody warning at all from Fileserve, Filejungle or Filesonic so we could copy our files over to other hosts.

No filhosts are required to provide any official statement. It is just gone as other hosts. Thank them for keeping your acct and files. Atleast you can download your data

I think we should oppose the SOPA Act, it would close file sharing companies like filesonic.

I don't think you understand what SOPA is trying to do. This is just the start. Eventually ALL uploading sites will be closed, so Filesonic must realise theres no point informing everyone to transfer over to other file hosts. They are mad, and rightly so, seeing as though their buisniness just got destroyed. The USA have made many many many enemies in what they are doing. This officially means the end of affiliate marketing online, and when you think about it, how many people will this anger. Me for starters, I mean I was only making $50 a month with Filesonic, but I am aware that some people were pulling in over $1000 a month. Thats a huge financial loss. If USA is not careful the enemies which they are making will rebel against them. We may see riots... you name it. The Mayans predicted the world would end in 2012. I know its a bit silly, but take away peoples internet freedom and chaos WILL errupt.

 

So FILESONIC is GONE !!!

The real question is what would people (like me) do , that were making their living with upload/download work. Im university graduate and i cant find a job that would pay me more than 300-400 $ in a month in my country.And it is still like imposible to find a job! I was making 1200 $ or more with that work. Now im unemployed.

 

^^Relax 5 years ago, no paying host was there.. Not it's same.. Just wait for a week or month.. New hosts will pop-up.

I will wait until the usual payout schedule and see if they do give us our last payment, but I doubt it will be the case, I give it 2% they will pay !! I had over 190$ in earnings and sold about 9 premium accounts last week, 2 in the very last day (I am sad for them).

 

honestly, affiliate marketing goes far beyong uploading some copyrighted material and trying to make quick cash from it. Get a real job, try looking at monster.com for e.g or learn more fundamentals about selling online and doing it the right way! This means, without having to promote questionable products or services so you will have no reason to worry about your passive income gets wrecked up through itervention by the state institutions and flame all forums down the road the hole f#cking day, because you might lose some pennies.

 

Youtube, Facebook and much more popular services are going to end in coming days......... So everyone can remain calm as whole world will protest and surely those SOPA and PIPA guys are going to face all consequences

I really cannot imagine the net and the world of downloading without the leader, Filesonic !

Not just for its affiliat-e program, but more for downloading from it, it was the place where you can find almost every files you want and I have a lifetime membership for that .

That farce of the crap " SOPA " should stop as soon as possible.
