They are definitely not safe anyway... but this "last week" payment would seriously differ from all the previous ones by nature because today we have the "Megaupload Precedent" that needs to be honored...
ahahhaha good thing i got my files backed up last month ^_^.. Wew looks like file hosting sites going chaos.. Now they disable sharing..
I really can't believe that Hish can be so pathetic. No announcement, no last payment. BTW, now you can only download your files on FileSonic, not anybody else.
I think it's obvious that there's something going on behind the scenes - more than just a kneejerk reaction to MU. For me it's more about keeping my site alive - I actually like sharing the stuff I share, and I'm just on the right side of legal. My visitors like my site and I like providing the content - more than making money anyway, but there are costs involved and I rely on my small earnings from the filehost to cover that. Personally I'm gonna sit back and see what happens over the next week or so before making any commitment to an alternative file host - can't see much point in transferring / re-upping a terrabyte of content and re-linking a shedload of content only to find the same thing happens again within days. At the moment I've only lost 1 file - no dmca notice so no idea what it was - all the rest seem to still be there for what it's worth. I have to say that I honestly thought fsn would have acted slightly better than this though - I mean at least a statement, but there ya go. Has anyone seen their facebook page lol ? very very funny !
go to megaupload.com to see this more than persuasive precedent: View attachment 71762 who dares to wait for the sentence.....
Well, what can I say? Wupload was the best, they paid every cent we have earned. I hope that FileSonic will do the same. If not ? There will be such a shame on Hish, who told that FileSonic is stable and do not cheat ever. Ever.. Shame on all FileSonic team, if they do.
It's the death of the online storage platform as we know it. The Megaupload guys are going to get roasted. They are pretty much fried. The FBI don't arrest for kicks. They will make it worth their while. I suggest anyone who is in this industry starts to look elsewhere before you are made a scapegoat of too.
just a question, nothing personal,.... after all what happened with megaupload, what would you do if you were FSC owner, the owner of a company that is under the risk of being jailed...?
I didn't think that FSC counted all downloads before today but now I'm 99% sure they didn't. I'm small and only have so much uploaded so on PPD plan I'd average maybe 12 DLs on a good day and 4-5 average a day but last night before they shut down the affiliate I got 20+ Before I went FSC only I had MU with the same files and MU averaged atleast 20 a day, kinda suspicious,I mean why not show how many DLs if you know you won't pay anyway. I only upload to share so I don't really care about getting any $$ but I know alot of uploaders do and this will dry up alot of good sources for stuff like when Rapidshare went to shit.
I will standby the site, as they did. And pay money for everyone, what they earned. Filesonic got millions from us... So they should make a last payout without doubts.
