Well, I guess that every service can't but have its flaws and bugs. Haven't used FileSonic myself, but seemingly it hasn't been an exception of a rule
a Thread title makes me respond again, Nothing Really happened to Filesonic, but they got scared & runaway with 100 Million $$$
See I don't think that's what happened - I suspect it was more tactical than that. How it works with filehosts is that they start up not making much profit, then if they are successful they peak in terms of income approx 12 months later. After that it gets more difficult to sell premiums because most people have already bought in, so although the number of downloads may increase, and the server space will also keep increasing, the cash income will decrease. Now it's very profitable to sell premium accounts, but not so profitable to actually deliver the service. So ... there comes a point when the sales are not covering the costs or at least profits are significantly down, and at that point it's time to take the cash and run (and screw the people who paid for accounts - after all what are they going to do ?). After a while (when the heat dies down) they just set up a new host and it all begins again. Of course the above is just my opinion
Can help to see the related irony... Great name & promotion in a thread where people are afraid of teh host running away with the money lol.
haha, your opinion is seemingly a right one, from my point of view, at least this is how I see this situation with many file hostings. At the same time, I presume that FileSonic owners really got scared about the whole SOPA situation
ALL filehosts now have their Paypal and Alertpay accounts frozen, so we will have to wait until their financial issues are over.
