You know guys, You all were thanking Hish and FSC for what beautiful and nice company/person they are. And there is no doubt FSC deserved these words - because they were best and most honest in the industry. Now that they are in a big problem and are forced to shut down their main services, that they found themsel in a position when they JUST CANT award you for PIRATED material....you start yelling, howling, whining..... what an ungraceful crew you are..... .
I don't know why you posting such disgusting message here. But one thing you remember Filesonic is NOT the ONLY paying host to close. Almost all respected one's are forced to shutdown their affiliate program due to copyright issues. Megaupload is seized by FBI and admin is arrested with severe penalty. If filehosts don't stop affiliate scheme they too might end in jail. Hish, Please ignore such nasty comments. Most of us including me know the effort you put in developing Filesonic as the No.1 file hosting company in the World. You were working day and night helping affiliates and sorry to see such comments from some Filesonic affiliates here. God bless you Hish & your family. Hey, I find your support always to these scammers like HISH. Though it is wrong to scold someone with abusive language when they are problem but have you thought what they have done to their loyal users. First of all deleted links, secondly took all their affiliate earning (don't say HISH was not aware that people are using copyright materials for earning purpose), at third instance stopped remote upload to other host (so user can d'load their content) and at last blocked the account citing infringement. Why they have done so? I have a lifetime account with 13TB of data. All are gone with the winds in just one day. Do you think, I will praise HISH for his nice gestures shown to us. If they are aware such thing may happen so they may have informed users little earlier like Willy. Even, HISH didn't appear once for a last word. Like a coward closed the thread, removed Facebook option, ran away with millions of affiliate money like a thief. Do you think he will return those amount to users or give it to any charity? Instead, these bunch of jokers will enjoy money while showing to others as they are Mr. Clean
I don't think so. I'm sure there were a better way to close the program. And if it only was a statement from Hish to the situation. But nothing, and so I understand people who are angry about this. What is with people which bought saturday a lifetime, he??? It's not the time to praise Hish, but also not to wish him and his family hell on earth.
Are you stupid? Oron's affiliate program is currently suspended while they inspect all their affiliates, so it's essentially down. You can still upload files, but do you really think they'll pay? My account with them was banned and my payout denied, for no apparent reason (could not get an answer from them) ..right now, they don't look like an option any more.
Hello, first off all everyone must understand he used to pay all of us regularly and now when a problem came he is forced to close affiliate program even sharing option. I have done some research among filehost admins and what they told is that their paypal account is freezed and its not possible to pay affiliates as its a crime now. They are not even able to pay server bills due to freezing so please try to understand their stand too. Concerning banning of accounts, its due to many dmca take down notices. If you have experience with some of the old hosts like filefactory, oron etc you will know that your account get swiftly banned soon after you get certain no of dmca notices. In filesonic they tried their best to protect affiliates and if they were bad they might have banned such users much earlier.
Agree 100% The people defending Hish are probably only doing so because they think/hope he will read their message of support and will pay them last week's earnings tonight lol.... dream on. Saw a thread on another forum where Hish seems to be trying to sell Filesonic... Probably fake but who knows.
from what i understand they decided to blocked access to the U.S. because they fear they might end up like megaupload.
Look - we all know why it's happened, it's the underhanded way it's happened that pisses me off. Not so much as a word - they just sloped off after promising they wouldn't do that. If I'm really honest I'm not that bothered about fsn anyway (though it will cause disruption and work for me) - they where skimming the downloads really badly (I did my own tests) and there was always some or other issue with the service, though most others aren't any better. I'm trying a new (to me) host right now - if it's good and pays and stays up I'll let you all know
Don't tell me, all of sudden all the DMCA take down came to earth. Why those file sharing admins are not giving any clarifications? What they told to you, you relied on their words? If they are not able to pay the server bills, then why they are not closing down the site, instead of keep running. They are all liars but waiting for a situation like this to accumulate huge amount and vanish. Just check the screenshot attached just few post above. What you will say about that?
Can't say anything about that screenshot. Even if its true then they might be doing so to pay the debts as you know file hosting is an expensive business and their main source of income is rebills & renewals and now all such income source is gone.
Well, I don't know what was the exact reason for closing FileSonic, but I can't get my last $300 from it and that's horrible. All file-sharing services are closing, where to find reliable one??? I'm also an affiliate at FileTram.com and I've written to their support today. They wrote me back that everything is o'k with their service and they assured me that will be. I've already got payments from FileTram, so I think I'll stay with this affiliate program. It has one of the highest payoff ratings, collects files from many small file-sharing services
