I have launched a site for UK tutors and its all free, it has a search facility, and few other options, and a forum.

There is alot of info on the 1st page (but this is needed for SEO reasons), it ranks ok, but could be better.

What would you change about this site if you owned it?

The colour scheme isn't too great in my opinion. And the navigation menu at the top needs to stand out a LOT more. The surrounding content draws all the attention away from it. It took me a while to even notice that that was a navigation menu when I was trying to get back to the home page.

Also, the markup is very poor but I am assuming that is the fault of a wysiwyg editor right?

I second changing the color scheme, I really don't like that green. I would also change the font for the body text to a sans-serif font.

Also the pages don't really have a flow to them, try aligning everything to a grid.
