    Lemme try... In Portal during game play they promise to give us cake if we get through the level... and once you do... the graffiti on the walls say "the cake is a lie"... in short we've been made buffoons of. Howzzat?

    The game portal was made (well the idea and a simpler version) by guys who went to my university, thats pretty much all I was saying. The rest was just be babbling on a bit, gibberish really.

    Once you escape the pre-made levels and get to the heart of the facility you get your revenge on the computer that has been testing you the whole time. GlaDOS bites the big one (if you play your cards right). And you escape. Game over. ....or is it? Credits role and we hear the big G sing a song called "Still Alive". At the end of the credits we see the image you posted. GlaDOS keeps the cake hidden away. The promised cake that entices us to keep testing each level at our own peril is a lie.
