I am so sick of DMOZ, i dont think it works anymore... those darn editors!!!

I dont think my submission will be checked anytime in the next ten years or so!!

Can we just BAN all future DMOZ posts.. as they are just a waste of time!

LOL, you start a DMOZ thread requesting a ban of DMOZ posts. That's funny. :D

I'll hand you a tissue when it's 7 years. Seven months is nothing. Your site is rotting in the queue along with a thousand other sites.

And if your request had resulted in a listing. Still nothing. It is just another backlink. Big deal. You're also mistaking DMOZ for some kind of webmaster service - you submit, editors review and list. Doesn't work like that. They are volunteers overloaded with submissions and edit when they can in their spare time. You're under no obligation to submit, they're under no obligation to review your submission. And what does it matter anyway, it is just another backlink.

My thoughts exactly. What is the big deal? You have a site. dmoz editors like to catalog sites. You have suggested to the dmoz editors that they may like to catalog your site. Either they agree, disagree or don't have the inclination to look yet. There isn't anything there to be angry (or even worry) about, imo. It is no more important than any other link, and most definately shouldn't effect the way one promotes their site (before or after it is listed).
