So PR4 is the new PR5.......for messageboards anyway

Alomst every messageboard I've seen that was a PR4 has dropped to a PR3, and everyone that was a PR5 dropped to a PR4. Some stayed, but I've seen more drop than stay. I guess I should be thankful I stayed a PR4. :D

Not PR is THAT important, but it still holds weight in peoples' minds.

agree with you. my site dropped from PR7 to PR5, but that doesn't really matter since traffic remained the same

I think all sites have noticed it being more difficult to obtain higher PR. However, I haven't noticed it diffcult to actually rank high in google... Our sites that are PR0 are still in high or first in google.

I got a forum that went to PR6 which is a joke in itself because it doesnt even have 10% of the link popularity or quality as DP.

Being high in google doesn't mean squat if it's not for a keyword that people search for. What keywords are you talking about here?

I'm kind of referring to forums that were PR4s or were PR5s before......and a good chunk of them have dropped. This really doesn't apply to new forums, although all of you that went from PR0 to PR3 might have gone to a PR4 otherwise.
