So much traffic.

Is google analytics wrong or what??So much traffic.Cant believe it.All these days i was gettin some 80-100 visits but day before yesterday google analytics showed 1536 visits for my website ipmango.com as many of you know and google analytics is showing 1896 visits for tommorrow.What conclusion do i make out?is google analytics correct or incorrect??

 

I cud understand your problem. I am somewhere agree with you that sometimes Google Analytics does not show gud resuls but it's hard to say it's wrong.

 

for me they always show less traffic from the original one

 

There is a better chance that you are getting some StumbleUpon traffic or that you have been featured on a popular site as opposed to Analytics being so badly broken. You should check the Traffic sources in analytics to see where the traffic is coming from.

 

Cant you compare the data with your host server stats?

 

yup! its hard to say its, specially the codes are being place in every pages.

my host server stats (awstats) show a bit more visits.

 

It can be false.But there can be huge variation in traffic.

 

You can check the sources of the traffic from your Google analytic, moreover the traffic from awstat and Google analytic used to varies from time to time.

 

I recommend to use several different counters at the same time. then you can be much more sure about stats

 

Have high traffic is a good thing, why you sound like not really happy??
