I've looked into SEO for a long time, but don't feel i have the knowledge to get sites going.

I used to run an ecommerce store, and want to launch it again with PPC and SEO implemented - which i didnt do before.

Also have started setting up blogs, which i'm looking to get a small amount, but have alot ($1 a day from 10-50 will be fine thanks :) )

What i know - or think i know.

All i really know is that content is the key, good content, relating to your keywords and links in to not just the homepage make your site look stronger.

Obviously title and keyword tags help, but apart from that and link building i dont know what to.

I read so much and just dont think i'm taking anything in as theres so much information around!!!

You've got the general idea. 90% of SEO is getting the right keywords in your title, description, and H1 tags. Get some more words on your page that are unique and interesting. Then get links back to your pages with variations of the same keywords. For most web sites this is enough. If you pick a competitive niche you'll have to get a lot of links.

Keywords is one aspect, but in order to generate traffic and get enough money out of your site, you need to have substantial content that will draw people into visiting your site.
