AMEN to that! I get sick of Reid, Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, and the rest of the straight jacket crue bashing the other side and playing "dirty" with little or no response from the GOP.

Come on GTech; use facts not snide comments!!!!

$45 million for attack ads. Very admirable.

I was gonna make a separate thread on this next comment but it is related in my mind.

I watched political ads on TV in this region this weekend. I live near Washington DC so get ads for Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

Senator Allen, a Republican conservative running for reelection to the senate from Virginia was running incredibly Progressive ads....made him seem like a Democrat.

The guy running for reelection to Governor of Maryland, a Republican was doing the same...amazingly Blue sounding.

A guy running for County Executive in one of Maryland's big counties here, A Democrat- running in a primary against another Democrat had rediculous usage of comments; he cited positive press from the Washington Post when it is supporting his opponent and referenced he would accomplish something that he can't do. Utter nonsense.

I guess the ads from the two republican candidates were developed to reflect the region....and the Wash DC suburbs in both Virginia and Maryland are bluer than red.

TV advertising by politicians is outrageously expensive and not reflective of their real stances on issues.

    It should be banned.

All the republicans have to do is air what democrats say; and that'd be enough - dont even need to make up anything. Nothing like a good series of Pelosi, Kennedy and Reid quotes for a good laugher. Mix in a few choice Sheehan cuts and mix in a speech by Dean, spliced with (insert random terrorist) here to let people know how similar the speeches are. And there ya go. :p

So the comparison would be ... this is what the democrats want (policy wise) .. this is how bad Cheney is at shooting a rifle? Hmmm....seems like apples to apples to me ;)

This would be a great picture for either Rep or Dem ads.

Maybe background would be a copy of Rummy's speach about Dems acting like those that appeased Hitler

Here is another good Republican tough guy picture. Our friend, W, during his high school and college days was a male cheerleader.

    Inspires confidence.

Should be used on TV ads by Republicans running for office all across the country!!!

    Don't you like the pictures?

    Who says anything about hate?

These are real. They represent factual periods of time.

Doesn't Rummy look good? Doesn't W look like a tough guy?

    Don't they inspire confidence?

Okay...so they aren't going to be used since the Republicans are going to spend $45 million on attacking others.

Next time, though, when the administration bellows on about people who don't agree with them as appeasing Hitler....they ought to show pictures of Rummy shaking hands with the other guy in the picture.

BTW: Who is the other guy? a disciple of Ghandi? :D

Blind hatred is a terrible thing to waste :D

That was the liberal's best friend, saddam! Those pesky liberals seem to think once an ally, always an ally. Thank goodness they aren't in office, or it would have been more than eight years of appeasing saddam.

Is Rummy a liberal? Do you have pictures of Liberals shaking hands with Saddam?

I still think that picture would make for a great TV ad!!!!!!!
