yea i think that honest reviews work better but thats in my humble opinion buyers are more aware now and i think that many of them can see through a fake review i try to buy the products if i am reviewing them thats why i made the review site for my own product but then again i maybe naive
i try to look for negative reviews about the product, just make sure the site offering the bad review is legit and has some content and isnt offering a competing product....That being said its still hard to find. CB does offer a money back
