I'll bet the toolbar PR update you saw doesn't factor in the new link - it was based on much older data. Toolbar PR is outdated (doesn't mean the link won't be counted or hasn't already been counted). Be aware that the next update (few months down the road) may not show any changes for pages with pre-existing PR. It seems the Google has opted to not export new toolbar PR for many index pages with PR. Doesn't mean it hasn't changed, just that Google might not be showing us the changes (just ask Guru).
Yes, he's a shrewd marketeer though a nice enough guy to actually donate your sig space to as well. Class DP member with a quality directory, well worth recommending.
Never said.. However.. I don't think Alivedirectory has a good trust rank since the site is just a few months old(mayby more than a half year). For me, Alivedirectory is just like any other directory.. don't know what the fuss is all about. I like mystik_media as a costumer and as a member in this forum tough.
Depends on your Details like no. of posts, avg. no. of posts and it usually ranges between 5 - 20/per month and i am correctly at the middle of the range
I'm not a big fan of the design... but if you do a backlink check on his directory you'll know why everyone is hyped about it!
honestly i feel $25 is too less, with the kind of promotions chris is being doing, whnever i have excess cash i put in alive directory as a future investment.
Its a very good directory but it gets over hyped. Its worth the price we know that but then people start making some stupid statements just becuase it is so hyped. Its a great directroy but people going all crazy about it like its a miracle from God or something buy your link and shut up, its not the greatest current directroy ever made and the prices should not be more. The prices are high now and its worth it, that says it all. We dont need very over exaggerated statemnts like ive been hearing. How many directories have some you guys even heard of outsite of Digitalpoint other than dmoz & yahoo. But on the other hand most people comments are smart its just those few that get to happy and say what tehy know nothing about.
well i dont know if guru is pointing to my statement or in general, bit alive is a growth story and its ever growing, thats what i am excited about.
Im pointing in general, I dont see why your so exited if anyone should be excited it should be chris. Its a great directory but when people start saying crap they know nothing about or are totally over-exaggerating it kind of gets really old. If anyone wanted to get convinced to put a link in alive they should just PM him. It s basically starting to become spam in my eyes search the forum and there are 3 more threads like this.
