So many backlinks, but Pagerank is still 0

Hi!

I am adding backlinks since 2 Months, but my Pagerank is still zero.

When i compare my Links to other Websites my Pagerank should be at least 4.

What's the problem?

 

There has'nt been a toolbar PR update for a long time.

 

when do you think the next update will be?

 

hehe I have the same problem lots of link backs and we get around 600 hits a day and my website is still pr0

 

Backlinks are not the only factor in determining PR. Google work in mysterious ways...

 

Could there be any VERY IMPORTANT thing that i might forgot?

 

PR, which is meaningless BTW, has to do with the PR of your links' pages.
If your site is PR0, and you have several links, but all on a PR0 page, it won't move. If you have ONE link on a PR5 let's say, it'll become PR2 or 3.
And it happens a lot with directory, where the homepage is PR7, but the page where your link is, is PR0.
Also, following some testing, I have seen that the PR has a tendance to go with the average. So, let's say you have a link on a PR2 and one on a PR6, it will never go higher than PR4.
Basically, if you have, let's say, a site with PR3, you better remove all link in pages of PR3 or less. This will, at least, make your site a very strong PR3, if not higher...

Be sure that you have gain lots good pr links.

 

PR updates about every 32 years or so, on the average.

(Actually, it's closer to 6 months, but in an age where 3 days is snail mail, 6 months can be a lifetime...)

 

It updates every 6 months.
This means February and September

 

keep on getting quality backlinks , u ll see the advantages in the next pagerank update.

 

I heard if you can get a PR 7 backlink then your site's PR would probably life up to 4. Is that true? Anyone can verify?

 

PR is not yet updated.So continue building links.U can get a very good PR.

When you get backlinks from those sites,look at their PR and see,how well they are performing.

 

Google's pagerank updates continually but it is only published (to the public) once every 3 or 4 months. You are getting visitors because google has already ranked you, they just haven't told you yet what it is yet.

Do a search for "google pagerank update" and you will easily find sites that predict when the next update will be.
