So is it _really_ worth paying the $2,5k activation fee for CJ accounts?

We got a reply from CJ asking $2,5k for activating our merchant account.

Is it really worth it, what do you think? Can it give good sales for a very niche specific product?

Sure, CJ is the best network around. Go ahead. If there is very little or no conversions, you can always charge back the leads of the publisher. Though such practice is not common.

So you can charge back that money if the thing doesn't work for you?

    Interesting

I do not think you can get the money back that is to set up account. Thier are other Cpa networks that cost less. You can try them first and if you do well then use money you earn to set cj account up.

That's the thing, didn't really find anything worthy. ClickBank had problems with our site (www.variantguide.com), and CJ seems to be the only good network left.

Wait, the whole thing with publisher-merchant is confusing.

I have a website that sells a product. I want affiliates to promote it. Who am I?
