somethings wrong here... i made a site. it has a PR3 and i am still in the sandbox.... http://largemouthbasstips.com i made the site in january 2006.. can anyone tell me whats going on? btw.. i have a web redirect http://largemouthbasstips.com >>>> www.largemouthbasstips.com could that cause problems with Google>?? other than that i cant think of anything that would make Google sandbox me still... thanks for ANY insight
Hi Zibzer, You have a cool website... I like it! My website has escaped from Google Sandbox. It takes 2,5 months to escape. I am not sure about your web redirect, but I think you don't need to redirect your web at the same index page. If our site is in Google Sandbox, we must do some actions to escape faster. What I did last time to escape: 1. Change my web layout 2. Add web content, at least twice a week 3. Submit articles to article directories 4. Check my back links. If there are some websites banned by Google and they link to our webs, they can cause our webs to be banned too (or to be sandboxed). Delete them. Hope this helps. Good luck ! MES
i havent really "built" too many links.. some.. but not many. most are natural. I must have some somewhat decent links though because i have a PR3... not a bad PR considering the circumstances
Try to get some links from "established" and well known pages. According to the theories of Trust Rank, that would get you out of the sandbox faster. Perhaps there is some fishing pages listed in DMOZ/Fishing that you could cooperate with?
if i type in "largemouth bass fishing tips" in google i am not listed in the top 1000 sites i am listed for very rare odd searches though. hence me getting about 5 or so hits a day from google. if i do the old trick and type in "largemouth bass fishing tips at a for the in with on to by as largemouth bass fishing tips at a for the in with on to by as largemouth bass fishing tips at a for the in with on to by as largemouth bass fishing tips at a for the in with on to by as" i am greeted with a #1 listing and it has been like this pretty well since 2 months from having my site online... if you don't think this is a text-book sandbox then please let me know what you think.... anything to get me better visitors
From that I'd say you went out of the sandbox 2 months after starting your site. The trick to get higher listings is to get links from trusted sites to yours. That's really all there is to it - aside from having unique content. If you have good information on fishing, try getting a link to your site on relevant fishing wikipedia pages (really specialized ones that are on topic for very specific pages of yours). For instance that page on clear water might be relevant for something in wikipedia. Oh - and fill up those empty pages (or get rid of any mention of them). That looks really unprofessional and google won't like it either.
How would I know whether my website is in google sandbox? Its been 3 months since we launched the website, Google still doesnt index it. The website is www.scorechase.com
Hmm build some links scorechase and wait. But it shouldn't take too long for Google to begin indexing the site. My website (Gazotto.com) took 1 year to get out of the sandbox for the term gadgets (mind you it's on the 83rd page, but it's out). Skinny
I am sorry scorechase. I think your web is still in Google Sandbox. To know this simply type http://www.scorechase.com in Google Search. If the message displayed like this: Your search - http://www.scorechase.com - did not match any documents. Suggestions: * Make sure all words are spelled correctly. * Try different keywords. * Try more general keywords. it means your web is (still) sandboxed by Google. You should add your web content regularly, submit articles to some article directories, submit your web to some Social Bookmarkings (maximum 3 Social bookmarkings per day) to escape from Google Sandbox faster. Also check your inbound links and delete links that not linked to you anymore (I mean if you have some reciprocal links). Good luck, and keep smiling
I think you did keyword stuffing. This can make a web banned by Google. Please read my article about "Knowing Black Hat SEO" at some article directories I submitted, or visit my url http://www.mes-seomaster.com/black-hat-seo.php You need also to check out inbound links that linking to you. If there is inbound link that banned by Google, it can make your web to be banned too.
What are you talking about? your site isnt sandboxed! Go to google Type: largemouthbasstips Your site appears at number one position! This means that your site is not sandboxed - it simply means that your site hasnt been properly indexed and/or you just need to build up backlinks!!! Your site even has a PR ranking duh!!!
Wrong, his site is still in sandbox for "Largemouth Bass Fishing Tips" search terms. read his first message. Sand box filter don't happen for all keywords, only for a set of them. And PR has nothing to do with it.
i just found out something a bit interesting. when i type in "bass fishing tips" i get #13 but when i type "largemouth bass fishing tips" i get NOTHING... not even 1000 this seems awful weird i suppose i can try and cut back on the term "largemouth" on my site.. maybe MONTY is right and Google thinks I'm keyword stuffing...
