So, I'm getting started today...

    Here's my plan:

Video Reviews on YouTube, with links to my squidoo (temporary) webpage and the affiliate links (redirected so CJ can't track them from youtube) to the product. Written reviews on a blog (with affiliate links linking to the products), and then a popshops store later.

Is there something breaking the CJ ToS here?

Also, what kind of blog should I use... can I use blogger? Or do they not allow that?

I dont think the ToS is being broken, although Id have to look deeper into the text. So long as your review is the true content and not the video

I don't think blogger has a problem with affiliate links. I've got some on my blog and haven't heard a word about it.

As far as the redirect goes, make sure you redirect to a redirect.

CJ might check your redirect page. To prevent this have the redirect send users to a landing page that is designed to move the traffic. The landing page shouldn't automatically redirect. They can check the back links on your landing page, and if the redirect page is the only one, then they'll find it. So make sure you have a few more backlinks up.

The truth is that most of your traffic is going from youtube -> redirect page -> landing page -> your affiliate. But all CJ will see is your landing page with 15 possible sources of traffic. They won't be likely to check all of them.

Would it be okay if I got traffic from youtube, put a regular link to my landing page, (say something like "Get 10% off this product here:" ) then put my affiliate link on the landing page? There would be no redirects.

    Cabrio,

As long as you are linking to your landing page first, rather than direct linking to the advertiser.. You will be fine.

Are you sure because it says in CJ's terms that you can't promote websites that have affiliate links on websites you don't own. I have no idea how strict they are with this, but thats what the TOS says.

I read them again, and it said "you may not post the affiliate links on third party websites"

I think if you made a blogger, they would accept it because you own the 'website', just not the hosting server (blogger).

Also, about tax forms (I've signed up now), Since I'm just using Squidoo as my temporary landing page, can I use the Certification Of No United States Activities form?

I don't have any employees in the US but I want to make sure, since this is legal stuff.

And I have a pending application for a company, how will I know when it's accepted?
