So i made a video but then what? No traffic came

So I made a video and I put my URL in the video but still it did not make me much more money. It gave me some traffic but that’s about it. So what did I do wrong what can I do better. I am a total grunt when it come to video and marketing with this.

Put your site's full URL in your video description so that users can easily access it through a click.

Promote your video in forums oriented towards thai/asian girls...check out the big-boards to find that out.

CONTENT IS KING...if you come up with a 2nd video, try to get some thai girls in bikinis doing the modeling...have more skin show...get more pics in a video, 4 minutes of content would be ideal.

And yes...pay Ikaruga to boost your Youtube video so you get honors and people will be attracted to see what's going on.

Hit up all the social bookmarking sites and try to seek out places that have a thing for Thai/asian girls

 

Just throwing a video up on Youtube and leaving it alone could quickly result in being buried and forgotten. Consider spreading the video far and wide - MySpace, Revver, Veoh, Blip, Metacafe and anywhere else that will accept it. Also consider that many video sharing sites have built up their core audience over the last couple of years. The audience on one site may be more interested in sexy videos while the core audience of another might be interested in funny gags. Find out what the audience is generally looking for.

I find that the more videos you have in your profile the more it helps you total subscription rate, which increases your exposure. Try making several smaller videos each with differect content. Then if you improve the vides, remove the older ones and replace with the larger videos.

 

I'm boosting your video's views free of charge on this one, Yellowberry. We can see how having boosted views have an effect on people being attracted to watching it.

 

Oh yes... I completely forgot that you can use a little-known blackhat trick to radically increase the view counts on your videos.

Create an IMG tag on one of your web pages and use the URL of the video as the "image". This will silently load the video every time someone loads the web page. From a high-traffic web page, the "views" of the video will skyrocket.

 

This all very interesting. I had put up some ridiculously STUPID videos advertising my site, but nothing really happened. I pretty much stopped and left it alone.

Any other secret "gems" that you guys are willing to share?

 

YouTube hasn't caught on to that tactic yet?
